PRIME project was presented at the 11th IEEE SpliTech Conference 2026 through the paper:

"PRIME Alert Design – AI-Supported Telemedicine System in High-Risk Environments" by the authors: Ana Madevska Bogdanova, Tatjana Loncar-Turukalo, Fedor Lehocki, Vladimir Trajkovik, Nevena Ackovska, Magdalena Kostoska, Bojana Koteska, and Kristina Drusany Staric.

The SpliTech Conference offered an inspiring program of technical sessions, keynote lectures, and valuable discussions with researchers and experts from around the world, enabling us to expand our scientific network.

We look forward to the next milestones of the PRIME project and to sharing our future developments.

The Macedonian and Serbian teams have just concluded a two-day workshop focused on one of the most critical challenges in modern defense: detecting stress and panic in rescuers and soldiers before these conditions escalate into a crisis.

The workshop brought both teams together to align on common approaches and define the tasks for the first project milestone. Key activities included specifying user requirements and reviewing existing databases of vital-sign and voice parameters relevant to stress prediction, panic attack detection and confirmation, as well as responses to hazardous environmental situations.
Two days of intensive discussions, challenging questions, and meaningful progress.

The PRIME Alert project successfully held its first workshop in a hybrid format. The Macedonian team participated onsite in Struga, while partners from Serbia, Slovakia, and Belgium joined online.
Prof. Ana Madevska Bogdanova presented the new PRIME Alert website, and young stipends from all partner institutions shared their ongoing work aligned with the first project milestone, demonstrating strong progress and promising outcomes. All participants gave their insight with quality discussions.

On 5-th of March we held the online Kick-off Meeting of our project PRIME Alert.
Prof. Petre Lameski, the dean of the host institution, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering - Skopje, welcomed all participants. Mr. Richard Brewin, Programme Manager for Energy & Environmental Security at the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme, opened the meeting with an overview of NATO’s efforts to support innovative ideas.

The leader of the PRIME alert, Prof. Ana Madevska Bogdanova, presented the whole project, while each co-director introduced their institution and outlined their role in the project – Minds Europe Institute, Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology, CREST - Centre for Research and Engineering in Space Technologies. Our end-user partner AlfaNum d.o.o. added valuable practical perspectives that will help guide the development of the concept.
The positive energy within the consortium was evident from the very beginning — a promising sign for the results we aim to deliver.
